Keezy Young, in a few pages, has provided the most relatable and honest discussion of bipolar and mania. Their authenticity is inspiring: a major manic episode disabled me in 2020 and I've never been the same. Medication does what it can, but it doesn't solve bipolar. We learn to live with it...and Sunflowers shows how that can be like. Beautiful and essential.

FERAL is an absolutely wild new horror comic from the creators of Stray Dogs. I used to read animal protagonist novels as a kid, and this brings that experience back in a big way. I look forward to reading volume 2!

This volume of Strays is devastating and perfect, sharing multiple perspectives that enrich the original story and your heart breaks for each one of the dogs. So intense and original, Dog Days transcends the series.

This comic is interesting but in some ways too similar to Bitter Root, which I adore. The artwork is chaotic at times and I didn't feel like I discern or relate to any of the characters. I bumped up the rating because the original story is tacked onto the end and I actually liked that one more.
I'm most likely not reading Volume 2. I don't care enough to continue.

Rivers Solomon never disappoints and Model Home is my favorite of their work so far, with The Deep at a close second, and it's maybe their most personal. The story is a painful read but in the best of ways, an implosion of grief and multi generational curses. The ending is so bittersweet but that's life. Epic and delicate storytelling. Beware of the content warnings tho.

This is a decent crossover. Delivers on the promise so if it sounds fun to you, it's worth taking a chance.

Rebel Wilson's memoir is beautiful and I highly recommend the audiobook because she read it. No notes.

Stray Dogs is an unusual way to tell the story of a serial killer. It's tense survival horror from dogs' perspectives about their owners death. It's wild yet if you're still interested, the balance is done really well.

This book is super rad and I look forward to the sequel.
It's a little slower than I would have liked, but I read this in chunks as my life was busy and I always enjoyed returning. The horror, the blood, the gore, the creatures and ancient beings, this book has it all. If the cover and title grab your attention like they did mine, it lives up to its promise and then some.

This is definitely a case of my library hold running out of time and I realized that I've not really found space to read this comic. Try again later.
