This Novella made me fall in love
... with everything!
This was a Novella, but it explained everything! It filled in the gaps from book 1 ... of course, still leaving a mystery somewhere.
I thought that book 1 was it, but this surpassed what I was expecting.
To now have this piece of information, I am cuious on how it will play out in book 2 🤯

I actually enjoyed this more than I thought ... even though there were some instances that I wish the book was over.
This was a great foundation to understanding what is going on with each of the characters and how they play a role in the 'big picture'.
I am currently working on the Novella and have to say this is the reason for the rating that it got ... besides Mark Travena being such a mysterious character that I need to learn more lol

The concept was understood, but I just could have done away with the 90% of sexual activities. 🙌🏽

It was a great start, but then it just started going down ...
The FMC was written as a badass, but then she was downgraded and written as a scared mouse. Stop it!
I was getting tired of her sneaking around and being scared of her 'poor status' being found out 😒

I wish I would have dnf'd ... BUT I wanted to use it for a challenge prompt.
I understood the concept, but it just did not do it, at ALL, for me!
The characters were flat [one dimensional], it was repetitive, it was predictable, it was slow ...
I feel like if it were shorter, it would have been a bit higher, only because it would not have dragged on and limited the room for repetitiveness.
That is it ... because 🤦🏾♀️

Hudson can take all of these stars 🙌🏽 He literally went hard throughout the book!
One of the many things I could not get behind was how Noelle was written to be a badass, and then she was a Damsel 🤦🏾♀️
*can not have it all boo!
I also could not get past the fact that some information was mentioned and not followed through on ...
*like the missing _____! Why even mention it!?
I also could not get behind Noelle's naive behavior when it came to Dylan. Like come on!
Hudson carried this book ... and I was here for it 👏🏽

This was a quick read and a great buffer for all of the fantasy I am currently reading ...
However, I have to be honest that I did not remember all of the details that happened in this.
Probably no fault of the book or author, just the time that I read it.
Would I re-read? Probably not. However, if you love holiday quick reads, you would most likely enjoy this!

I have to say that this took me a while to finish, but it was definitely not fault at the book or the author.
*it is what happens when you read so much lol
I loved this book because it explained so much and had so many revelations. Revelations that I had no idea were being set up throughout the first 2 books.
It is so challenging not to want to list everything I loved about this book without giving away so much of the plot and setting, and what happens with each character.
By the end of the book, I still loved Rhysand and Feyre 🙌🏽
Another MC was put on a pedestal for real ... because he came in and saved the day!
I loved the action in this book! It seriously was so detailed and felt like i was there.
I am excited to finish this series, only because I want to come back and reread 💀
