This is not a bad book, but maybe it just isn’t for me. Because I’m entering my romance era, I decided to read this one because I was seeing everyone reading it so I wanted to give it a try, but maybe this book wasn’t good to start with romance and that’s totally my fault😅
The plot is what definitely made me read it: who doesn’t like witches? not only that, but the book is really short so I was like “fuck it, let’s read this”. At the begging it had me hooked because the tension between the MC and the love interest was superior, but as I kept on reading my enthusiasm went downhill… Given the fact that it’s about a school of witches, I expected more interactions and people to appear, or just more teachers, classes, etc as it felt she forgot the whole book was set on A SCHOOL, but right in the middle of the book it was just pure sex and I felt like the author completely forgot about the important part of it all (Willow’s purpose).
Another thing that I really didn’t enjoy at all was the fact that Willow was basically a possession to Gray: I can totally get the fact that this is a romance book but I draw the line there, and her being compulsed is just rape, and I can’t support that. I also cannot support toxic relationships of any kind, and all of that just threw me off completely. I was sure I was going to give this book more stars but after I read the whole virginity sex I completely changed my mind (I will never think being a virgin is a bad thing because that’s NOT what I’m saying, but the whole “I’m going to be a virgin just to have my first time with the fuckboy love interest” is not my thing).
Is this a dark romance? Are dark romances always like this? I’m genuinely asking because I don’t know! I’m new to the genre and I was surprised such things like that were described as a normal thing🤷🏻♀️.
Again, I don’t think is bad but there are a lot of plot holes (I know there’s a second part coming up this summer) and it’s just too much for me.

No puedo expresar con palabras lo que acabo de leer, estoy flipando.
Desde que descubrí a Sanderson en noviembre del año pasado, me puse como objetivo leer todos sus libros y, cómo no, compré el primer tomo de la saga “El Imperio Final” que no sólo me encantó, sino que me marcó de una manera indescriptible. Después leí el segundo libro y también obviamente me encantó ¿pero este? Estoy sin palabras. Creo que es el libro más denso y complicado de los tres pero me ha atrapado y me lo he leído en cuatro días, cosa que nunca hago porque es un libro de casi 800 páginas y me suele llevar más tiempo.
Los personajes siempre los voy a llevar en mi corazón. Sazed, Kelsier y Vin me han marcado de por vida y sólo puedo darle las gracias a este magnífico escritor por abrirme las puertas a su increíble universo llamado Cosmere y no puedo esperar más a seguir leyendo los otros libros.
Sigo sin entender cómo una persona puede tener tan magnífica imaginación y plasmarlo en unos libros TAN buenos. Cada libro que leo suyo me gusta más y más y me declaro fan incondicional de Brandon Sanderson con todas las putas letras.
Me duele mucho despedirme de estos personajes tan queridos pero siempre los llevaré conmigo. No voy a mentir: he llorado con el final, pero me he quedado completa, no sabría ni cómo lo explicarlo.
Y ¿qué más puedo decir? Esta saga de fantasía es increíble y se la recomiendo a todo el mundo, pero he de decir que es bastante densa así que no la escogería como la primera saga para leer si te estás introduciendo en la fantasía.
Todo en este libro ha sido perfecto, no tengo ninguna pega. Menuda puta locura.

Wow. This was just AMAZING.
I discovered WEBTOON a couple of days ago and decided to read this beautiful graphic novel when I downloaded the app and I’m so grateful I did!!!
So Hades has always been one of my favorite Gods from the greek mythology and I loved the way the author changed his and Persephone’s myth in this cute and beautiful retelling! The real myth per se involves kidnapping and I have always thought mythology as something so unfair to women… I loved how it was changed and it was so cute and also super funny!! I find this story so original because the author sticks with mythology but at the same time mixes it all up with real-life problems like Persephone’s insecurities. I’m not really into romance that much but this one… I’m already addicted.
The characters:
<b>Persephone</b> is so cute, I feel like I want to protect her at all costs and I can’t wait for her to develop as a stronger woman; <b>Hades</b> has all this “bad boy” vibes that we all love but he seems like an amazing person, and the dogs??? I just want to marry him😂; his brothers <b>Zeus & Poseidon</b> are so freaking funny; <b>Arthemis & Hera</b> are THE women, they barely appear but omfg I love them so much; <b>Eros</b> seems like such a good friend but he’s a mama’s boy, I hope he changes😂; and <b>Apollo</b> you can go FUCK YOURSELF thank you.
The drawings are so freaking beautiful, like wtf I want to have that much talent😂 I can’t even draw a straight line🫠. I don’t give this first volume 5 stars because this was more like an introduction to the story and its characters and I know I’m going to love the next volumes and I can’t wait to keep on reading.
Can I read this on webtoon? Yes. Am I going to buy the physical copies of this? Also yes.

Me ha gustado bastante este libro. Llevaba tiempo queriendo leer sobre vampiros y la verdad es que no me ha decepcionado para nada.
El mundo que ha creado el autor a partir de Luis XIV (el Rey Sol) me ha parecido bastante original y curioso y me ha dejado intrigada y con ganas de leer el segundo tomo para saber cómo funcionan las tinieblas y los poderes que concede la sangre.
No le doy 5 estrellas porque ha habido cosas que no me han acabado de convencer. Se nota que es un libro bastante juvenil por la manera en cómo está escrito (aunque tenga escenas bastante fuertes) y la traducción al español no me ha gustado demasiado, así como que cada puta frase del libro está en exclamaciones y me ha sacado de quicio. También, me ha parecido que Jeanne lo ha tenido todo demasiado fácil y ha entrado a la corte sin obstáculos, y a mi parecer hubiera estado mejor que le hubiera costado más conseguirlo. Tampoco me encanta demasiado la protagonista y las decisiones que toma.
Recomiendo este libro si te gustan los vampiros y la fantasía, pero cabe recalcar que no deja de ser juvenil así que no te esperes una obra de arte de la literatura. Es bastante rápido de leer y pasa todo tan rápido que no te das ni cuenta y ya has leído 100 páginas de una.

Sin más. Esperaba que me gustara muchísimo este libro después de haberme leído el primero (El nombre del Viento) e incluso pensé que me iba a gustar más este, pero nada que ver. Sintiéndolo mucho y con toda la pena del mundo, me ha aburrido bastante y se me ha hecho interminable hasta tal punto que me he saltado páginas porque no veía el momento de que se terminara.
No puedo creer que de 1190 páginas que tiene el libro, más de la mitad sea PURO RELLENO porque hay millones de cosas que sobran, por eso me pregunto: ¿por qué es tan innecesariamente largo? 2 malditas semanas me ha llevado terminarme este libro que, de aquí a que salga el tercero (que seguramente me habré muerto y todo), lo tendré que volver a leer porque sé perfectamente que se me va a olvidar absolutamente todo. Tampoco entiendo muy bien qué pretende Rothfuss con el tercer tomo ¿Tendrá el doble de páginas? Porque este libro es TAN lento y todavía no sé casi nada de lo que de verdad importa: los putos Chandrian. Y no solo eso, es que el prota ha llamado al viento ¿cuánto? ¿dos veces? Que alguien me explique PARA QUÉ tanta palabrería para que pasen sólo un par de cosas interesantes.
En el primer libro me encantó Kvothe, pero en este simplemente me parece bastante arrogante y la mayoría de las veces se cree mejor que cualquier persona que le rodea. Hay algunos personajes nuevos que no están mal pero me faltan mujeres en la historia, y ni voy a decir nada sobre algunos comentarios misóginos repartidos por el libro porque sino mi lado feminista sale a la luz y mi reseña sería interminable.

Alomejor no era el momento adecuado para leer este libro y alomejor tenía unas expectativas bastante altas después del primero (y eso es culpa mía). Ehm… ¿qué acabo de leer?
La verdad es que el libro como tal no está mal y la pluma de la autora es espectacular pero me ha dejado un poco sin más.
Tenía unas expectativas medias tirando a altas porque la sinopsis me pareció bastante buena, pero ha acabado siendo otro libro que seguramente acabe olvidando desgraciadamente. La idea principal que es básicamente cómo la nobleza se aprovecha de los más débiles bebiendo literalmente su sangre es genial pero, durante todo el libro, no pasa absolutamente nada salvo el proceso que va tomando la relación bastante tóxica entre la protagonista y Lisavet. Estaba en el 70% y todavía no pasaba nada hasta que en los últimos capítulos BOOM, y después me he quedado en plan “¿ya está?”. Leer tantas páginas de puro aburrimiento (que repito, la autora escribe súper bien) y relleno para llegar al final y que se resuelva todo tan rápido no me ha convencido del todo.
Lo que sí me ha gustado es cómo la autora ha plasmado (de manera digámoslo extraña) cómo los ricos obtienen y hacen lo que quieren mientras se aprovechan de los que no tienen tanto para vivir, así como las cosas tan raras que pueden llegar a hacer pagando infinitas sumas de dinero.
¿Recomendaría este libro? Sí, pero no creo que sea para todo el mundo ya que contiene sangre, tortura, horror, es bastante gore, abuso de sustancias tóxicas, relación tóxica, canibalismo, muerte, y un largo etcétera. Recomiendo leáis los trigger warnings antes de empezar el libro.

This book is pure suffering but I think everyone should read it.
Unfortunately, in the times we are living in, there is a lot of racism and this book talks about it in a way that makes you suffer from start to finish. I’ve read this book in an afternoon and it is so well written but it wasn’t an easy read for all the topics it deals with.
