This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas

I gave this 4.5 stars.
I really enjoyed this read for some reason... Maybe it was because Ava is such a fun character or maybe its because Jesse and his controlling ways had a hold on me. I mean there was nothing unique about this read let's see hot, sexy, mysterious billionaire ✔ beautiful girl ✔ control freak ✔ crazy roller-coaster ride with control freak ✔ hot sex ✔ ✔ ✔ ok you get it. Basically if you liked Fifty Shades of Grey then you have to read this. If you don't well maybe you should still give This Man a try.

This one was just awesome! It was great so much betrayal, deceit, and backstabbing! It had so many twist and turns too. Things was happening that you wouldn't expect. Definitely a must read once you start you won't be able to put it down... Now on the the next installment :)

This book started out slow at first, but I guess it was all for the good. This book was filled with jealousy, deceit, lies, and backstabbing all in one reading. It was a great story and the characters are also great. I really enjoyed Jewels character and the way she is as a woman. The best thing is that she's a Scorpio and I am one too and Chunichi portrayed Scorpio attitude very well :)

I give this one 3 1/2-4 stars.
It was okay, I enjoyed the first one more. I mean this one had a bit of action, but not as much and I just felt the villian could've been better. The thing I did like about it is that there was a twist. To read about a werewolf and a vampire that falls for eachother, esp when we all know werewolf and vampire are like rival enemies. The sex scene were ok not too naughty like I would've wanted. Overall, I would reccommend it to anyone.

I found this book to be okay. certain parts of it made me grow bored of it. I got the audio book and in a sense I'm glad I did. I must say I did like the main character's attitude, but she was a bit blah. I don't know if I will continue reading this series...

I gave this one 4.5 stars.
I really enjoyed this read. I loved the fact that it was a quick read bc it was straight to the point. Action began rather quickly too. I love reading books that are like this straight to the point and not full of bs. Sometimes books that take forever to get to the plot is exhausting and gets boring sometimes. This was my first read from author Cynthia Eden and I really enjoy her work. I guess the only reason why I didn' t give it the full 5 stars is because the erotic scenes were more like quickies and not enough lol. Although, I did enjoy them because they were hot, but ended quick lol. Come on a hot werewolf and a sexy vampire getting it in who doesn't want more of that.
I enoyed Morgan personality because she wasn' t a cocky vampire like most are and she had compassion for other peoples feelings that is until you backstab her.
As for Jace I enjoyed his character to especially when he would claim Morgan as "mine" idky but I love when werewolves do that its so dominating lol. Then again it may also have to do with the fact that ever since in True Blood they put the werewolf Alcide now when I read werewolves in a story I picture him. Yep, he is my fantasy werewolf lol. Can you blame me?
I will be reading the next part and I would definitely recommend this book.

This one in my opinion was even better than the first one. I love that I was able to understand Christian more and the reason why he is the way he is. I loved his character in this one because he was more loving and such a romantic. There were a few weird moments in this one, but I wont spoil it for anyone.
As usual I also enjoyed Anastasia in this one as well. She definitely blossomed more than she did in the first one, which is totally understandable and make perfect sense. That's the beauty of when a writer keeps the sequel in order. I always love how Anastasia has that sex kitten alter ego in her which she refers to as her "inner goddess" her alter ego is just so funny. I also love that now Anastasia was willing to try new things.
I really do enjoy this series and would definitely recommend it. Its such a fun, erotic, romantic, and twisted series. I will be reading the last installment of it.

Destiny's Need by J.J. Argus

I give this book 3 stars.
Warning this book does contain harsh language, degrading scenes, and disturbing scenes of father-daughter sexual relations. So if you can' t handle that then this just might not be the book for you. You may want to try it out though it is a good story.
This was the first taboo book I've ever read. I had a lot of emotional moments reading this book. I had a love hate relationship with Destiny only bc she was feeling that way about her Dad. I guess it was bc she was confused about what was going on and the fact that a sexual side of her that she never experienced before was there. I mean she always knew she was a sexual person, but not she never knew she would enjoy being dominated and reduced to a slave. I also felt bad for her especially when she felt humiliated, but then again its all psychological bc when you have someone especially your father putting you down and saying you aren't going to amount to nothing other than a slave, what do you think the outcome of it is going to be.
Of course, I had no respect for the father bc of what he did. A lot of the scenes was a bit disturbing just bc its taboo. I just couldn't stand what the father reduced Destiny. But in my opinion I think the author did a very good job with the assimilation Destiny had to endure to learn the slave trade.
Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in taboo. One thing I could see is there being another part to this book just so we can see where Destiny goes from where she ended. I would like to see that.

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake

I give this 2.5 stars. I really was interested in this book who wouldn't be with a kick ass boy that hunts ghost right?! Boy was I wrong. I grew bored with the book rather quickly. I didn't fall in love with the character Cas at all. I thought he was going to be so much cooler than what he was. I didn't even care for Anna neither. It did have moments of hype and action but then it kinda dies out. I still have not finished the book because I only read it when I remembered it or when I don't have anything else to read (which is rare).
Would I recommend it? I doubt it. I guess it depends on who is reading it. Maybe it's geared for a younger audience.
Did I fall in love with the characters? Nope not at all.
Will my thoughts change when I finally finish the book? I doubt it because if it took for me to reach the end to change an ounce of how I feel about the book then my feelings would most likely still remain the same.
