WHAT IN THE CASTLEVANIA VIBES?? I AM OBSESSED!

I've been putting off this book for a good couple years since it came out because my tbr was just stacked, IM SO ANNOYED I DIDN'T GET TO IT SOONER.

This was EVERYTHING! The lore was really interesting, I loved the main characters, the side characters, the world building...all of it. The plot honestly had me hooked from like the first chapter, I seriously tried my best not to consume this all in one go. The dynamic in both ally and romance between the main 3 characters was fascinating and you don't see much poly in mainstream books so this was a unique plotpoint. Overall though all the twists, the turns, the gore, the battles...just all of it was impeccably written!

Hoping I get to the sequel faster than i did this one!

Solid 3.5 on this one. The concept was great, I loved the idea of a virus turning people into Ghouls, and the setting of a music festival was really fun! I can’t explain though the story was too fast but also WAY too slow…I know it was less than 300 pages but I wanted more of some parts and less of others! I did have fun tho, it was definitely unique. It did remind me a little of In The Flesh!

As I think I said in my review of book 2 I can’t put these down which means you should pick this up!

I seriously will never get over the world building and the characters in this series. Everything is treated with such care and kindness, the relationships, the hard topics, everything . The rep and inclusion just makes me love it even more.

Shane and Andres were great characters to read from, I enjoyed their dynamic a lot and what this book had to offer (i was not expecting that scene to be so spicy tho omg!). I loved just everything about this and how a lot of the more difficult topics were handled was so well done!

Also can we talk about the Wes, Vincent, Clem, Justin, Diego, Maddox and Valentine inclusions ahhhhh!! Seeing all of them interact and those characters dynamics and continuation outside of their own stories made my heart sing. Another easy 5*. @author please don’t stop ever you’re amazing.

Took a while to get going and it did lull around the half way mark but the last 30% was MAD! Love this series so much it’s part guilty pleasure romance and part crazy plot!!

I was NOT expecting where this ended up going, I had SOME suspicions but the last 10% had me in the edge of my seat! Can’t wait to read the final book in the series but I’m also not ready to let go of this world ugh

I’ve never read from this author before but I sure as hell will be picking up more!!

The vibes for this were immaculate,  I want this to be a 6 part mini series so badly I know it’d slap SO hard. The twists, the turns, just all of it was SO so good!

I love a good mystery and this seriously hit everything I like, the small town, simple case becomes something more complex, just ugh all of it PLUS vampires??? Count me IN. Seriously though this is a really good thriller/ mystery READ IT!

I want a sequel so bad, Barbara is a badass!

BIG Fright Night vibes with this one. I loved all the mystery and secrets and trying to figure out what was happening as the characters pieced it together. The twist was crazy and I love it!

The multi pov worked SO well! The sense of fear and horror the author built up with the POV’s was amazing! The gore too was on point, truly made the horror even more chilling with how descriptive and gruesome the deaths were!

I loved this so much honestly and I believe there’ll be a book 2 so I cannot wait!

Okay this is a trueeee guilty pleasure series i can't lie, I just want MORE. This one was a bit off with the pacing hence the slightly lower rating than book 1 but I really enjoyed the twists and the mystery in this one! Very big on the drama and the dynamics were interesting. Plus the reveals in this book ahhh!

I can't wait for whatever's gonna happen next, I seriously can't wait. I love the romance, the intrigue, the spice, all the new supernatural elements that got added...I need more Julien and Thea ASAP

Whirlwind doesn't even begin to cover how the last 20% of this book made me feel. Oh my GOD the PAIN WHY!! I loved this so much, the plot, the twists, the reveals IT WAS SO GOOD. CC NEVER DISAPPOINTS!

I loved this just as much as the first one, honestly I'm so fond of these characters and so truly invested in the drama! Both the main plot drama AND the romantic subplot drama. I seriously loved this so much, I have a habit of dragging out CC books purely because it feels so far between. I just know the next book is a. gonna kill me and b. take me FOREVER to read but i sincerely cannot wait!

PS. Jem, Will and Tessa just arghhhhhhhh <333

Didn’t love this AS much as the first one but oooo ~only one bed~ trope and nemesis’ to lovers was fun! Plus amnesia trope! It was fun, really. It honestly had an interesting overarching plot and I was more curious how that was going to evolve and workout than the romance?

I did like the romance but I have to say the spice level was cranked up in this one and it gave more of an *oh god…that’s a lot* reaction lmao.  It was definitely more than book 1 did but the plot made me keep going plus the dynamics were interesting enough to push through!

Anyway 4*! Not as instantly loveable as the first one but good plot, world building and I enjoyed the tropes!

Oh I loved this! The world building was fascinating, Mariel was a really interesting MC and you know I love grumpy sunshine! Throw in enemies to lovers, fake dating and forced proximity and I’m sold. This was fun, spicy, fast paced and had a really interesting concept and plot. This hit all my fav tropes and was just great!

An easy 4.5! (It gets a 4.5 not a 5 purely because it took like 130 pages to do a whole 180 on enemies to lovers but I had a lot of fun with it! )
