I appreciated the accurate representation of trauma and the struggle with vaginismus. It is clear that the author understands trauma and I wish stuff like this was more talked about in romance novels. The Easter egg of satisfaction guaranteed was cool too!

I don’t find myself wanting to re-read books very often if at all. But this one makes me want to read it multiple times if not to appreciate Tansy and Gemmas story, then at least to re live all the Taylor swift references/lyrics and count and underline how many I found. This book did feel like multiple Taylor swift songs in one and like it was made specifically for sapphic swifties. I really enjoyed it and really loved Tansy and Gemmas dynamic. I have a soft spot for Gemma though as my type is often over protective and acts tough but Is really just a big softie.
Definitely top 5 sapphic books I’ve read
Manifesting a movie for this book because it would be so cute to see adapted to screen!

I think the premise was a lot better than the execution. The book could have been a lot shorter and many parts dragged on. Also since the mothers in the book did do some pretty bad stuff that kind of went against the point that mothers are overly punished for how they parent. Of course it was to the extreme but I think the point of the book could have been stronger if the main character didn’t really do anything and was punished for it. I do think the book made its point but I would recommend the handmaids tale before this.

Reminded me of Wonderland by Taylor swift. It was cute but felt like some parts could have been executed better. Not sure if it was just cause I was reading the audio book though

This book reminded me of so many Taylor swift songs. So that was a vibe. Some of the songs I thought of while reading were ivy, seven, haunted, the lakes, anti hero, illicit affairs, tolerate it, invisible string, mad woman.
Just loved that it was basically Emily Dickinson fan fiction so good and makes me want to watch Dickinson!
