Reminds me of that suffocating feeling of first queer love as a teenager. I resonated so much with the feelings. Beautiful writing. If I dog eared pages there would have been a lot of them.
Also arranging books so that the spines make a poem is iconic and why don’t more people do it

Pretty predictable, but hilarious and well written. I love the friendship between Vero and Finlay
And love that Finlay is a mother and doing such badass stuff. You don’t see a lot of mothers represented that way. I’m excited to read the next two books in the series!

I really liked the Armenian representation and the educational aspects of the book. I had just learned about the Armenian genocide last summer and I love that this book touches on it through a romcom! It’s an accessible way to learn about Armenian culture! I really enjoyed the book and i love Erebuni! She’s so sweet and awesome! The main character not so much with her poor choices, negative opinions and misunderstandings and her saying Taylor swift is her worst enemy! And that TS is super straight (Why and also Taylor’s music is so queer). I understand that the main character was questionable in order to be able to learn more about the importance of her identity and culture, but at times it was frustrating. I was choosing between 4.5 and 4.75 but went with the higher side because I learned a lot and the background of this novel is so important especially because I’ve never seen a mainstream novel that had mostly Armenian characters ( and this one is sapphic!) I definitely recommend this book even though the main character wasn’t my favorite

Absolutely love Xander but feel like a lot of parts in the book were filler and the repeating of lines was a bit frustrating (maybe because I was reading aloud?) interested to see how to story continues though.
