One of the most overrated books I’ve ever read. People have called this like work that’ll last the ages and I think it's just pretty good. I don’t get it at all. There is nothing in this book that other books haven’t done better and I can’t see how this series will end in a satisfying way for anyone. I bet the colonizers win because the main character is so goddamn arrogant. This book annoyed me a lot but it was still well written, the prose was beautiful at times but man, I dunno, the hype was too much.
