"What value would you put on a life?"
There really is nothing I can say to express my thoughts about this. It is nothing short of lovely, and I think that everyone should experience it.

This novel was particularly relatable to me to a certain degree, as someone who's had similar thoughts to the protagonist. The sense of existential dread, the desire to achieve numerous great things in your life. In fact, it's been a while since a piece of literature made me feel this way—the feeling of having to stop and think to process about what you've just read.
Needless to say, within the short period of time I read it, it made me think about a lot of things. The first half hit me particularly hard, especially from a personal perspective.

All in all, the ending felt a bit too overdramatic, but everything else was great. I bet this is going to be one of the few books that will make me think about it for a long time to come.

To be honest, there's not much to say except to read and witness for yourself.

This novel is nothing completely new, groundbreaking, or revolutionary in the genre. In fact, it is much more fitting to say that it is JUST like every other transmigration novel in a way that it contains the fundamental plot points and tropes that the common fantasy Japanese light novel share, however, it gets bonus points for actually capturing the humor that these types of novels should have.

Manages to make the narration and the play of events very silly. Light, entertaining, and overall an extremely promising read - will definitely be checking out the other volumes.

It's good, but unfortunately average.

The tropes and events were very typical of a fan-rom Japanese light novel, which isn't bad if that's what you wanted, but not what I originally read it for.
I came for the snarky narrator and the humorous silly recounting of events but was left disappointed as these flairs didn't really feel as witty. Part of the reason why I enjoyed the first volume was due to the fact that it was absurd and satirical; Basically had barely any plot, and contained all the qualities and tropes that every other Japanese fan-rom light novel has, except that it had a comedic charm to it.

I do understand why the author switched it up by adding a sprinkle of plot—as the whole premise is basically that Mia has to remain passive and inert for the whole comedy to work, and that gets boring quite fast—but personally, it just highlights how exceedingly tropey the whole novel is.

Nevertheless, though this volume was somewhat ordinary, it was still fun for leisure reading and I'll still be checking out the 3rd volume. There are outcomes hinted that keeps my interest going.

it was charming and quite boring, but i suppose that's the charm of isekai novels. besides, i've consumed the animanga, so i knew roughly what was gonna happen.

nevertheless, i quite enjoyed the infodumps and world-building, but there's nothing much to say aside from that.

can't say for sure if i like this volume more than the last. they're equal, not too boring but not highly entertaining either. furthermore, it lacked the oomph that i liked about tensura from the manga and anime.

infodumps about the abilities were definitely the biggest bore - they just felt like convoluted words and fantasy bullshit that didn't make much sense. the fights are another con. didn't feel any thrill, even if the novel went on-and-on about this opponent being strong and the that.

no tension nor excitement, it was just meh.

despite that, it's still entertaining enough. the best part of tensura are the characters, and definitely just seeing them interact is fun to read about.
