just one of those books that finds you when you need it

Literally no one will ever understand me like VW

First time re-reading this since ap lit in high school and wow. 17 year old me was simply not depressed enough to appreciate it

sally rooney’s best, hands down. Wow

One of those books that randomly finds you (I had never heard of it, just picked it up from a used book store) at exactly the time that you need it / are able to relate to it

God damn…. This is probably the best modern poetry I’ve read. So achingly beautiful, pertinent, rageful…. Choi is going to be joining Mary + Pessoa among the ranks of my favorite poets
