it initially pissed me off stylistically but the plot dragged me in hard enough i cannot complain. i would have liked it to be yuckier though. as it is it is like

a cocktease for horrible scary surgery (i wanted more horrible scary surgery)

idk how my first attempt at reading supergirl landed me with what has to be the single weirdest iteration of the character. i love like... the tone setting all that of this but the actual setting, the characters... less inspiring. supergirl/linda/matrix herself neaaaarly gets to very likable points but pulls back at some vital moments. idk! there was a gorilla also

this rocks. the art is so good. did not realize it was vol 4 and not just a collection, very happy Hellboy has a roadmap for me to follow, im a fan

super good. reminding me that what i love most about nonfiction are the endless threads it gives me to follow. i gotta read more by this guy.
