It's a very cute story! I really connected with the FMC over being plain looking and struggling with relationships! I really enjoyed reading this volume enough to continue reading the series.

It's still as good as I remembered it! It was a good book when I read it as a child and it still holds up for me today. Still love this book.

The beginning hooked me in to listening to the rest of the story. However, once we got past the beginning of the story, it kind of became meh and eye-rolling for me.

As a teen, I loved reading this book. It really resonated with me then. Nowadays, as an adult, listening to this over a decade later, it didn't really age as well as it could have for me. Don't get me wrong, it's still a decent book, but it's just not the kind of book/genre I read anymore. It's still a nostalgic book for me.

While it had a lot of interesting tips intertwined with common sense, I just couldn't stay focused enough to absorb the tips.

I enjoyed this volume, despite it coming from my roommate's Loot Crate box and their need to "not really want it depending on if I liked it or not". I wasn't expecting it to be a series that I would invest in because it didn't pass my initial viewing at Barnes & Noble, but after reading the synopsis and actually getting around to read it really solidified it as a series that I would continue investing and reading in.

It's kind of meh for me. The story was entertaining enough, but I didn't really connect with the characters all too much sadly.

The story's pretty solid, but it was a bit of a slog for me. While it's a fast read, I struggled a little bit to finish reading it. Still has a pretty solid story regardless and the characters are pretty solid too.

It was kind of meh for me, but short enough for me to not really mind it all too much. Prolly wouldn't've minded it so much if it was a little bit more compelling emotionally for me.

It's a bit sadder than the previous 4 volumes, but it's still just as good! Very emotional volume!
