Honestly it wasn't qhat I wanted it to be. It's not bad I don't mind the rambles but I could do without the repetitiveness of all the guys she's fucked. I loved the perspective of her. Just too much focus on the one night stands and I frankly find it boring. Maybe I'll come back. But I'm keeping the book cause the cover is divine.

It's time to let go. The romance isn't compelling nor the characters or the quest it's a bit boring

Maybe I'll come back... but I'm not in the mood for what she's putting down it's good it just makes me sad. The poor guy adores her and all she sees him as is a sexual partner. Also she is just using him. It just doesn't have the sort of substance or adorable amazing romance that I want. MARCUS DESERVES BETTER... the drama top tier. But also I care way too much about Marcus to enjoy it rn

5 stars I actually adored this book and how it looks on most aspects of true crime. The death pentality and wether or not justice exists. Do these murderers deserve another chance? But I love the fact that it discusses the victims. How they are remembered. That is a problem. Media spends more time on the murderer than the victim. They become part of a series a number it's sad. I loved the fact that it's told from the people around him mostly except for the execution stuff but yeah. Even the hours before the execution uses 2nd person. Not something you see very often i think it highlights rhe depravity of his actions. How he is a person, one that yearns to be special. He isn't. When you look at it from his perspective you almost believe his genius.  But from others you realize how forgettable and pathetic he is. Gorgeous book I loved it. Honestly i want to analyze this book it is just SO good.
