Great ending to a great series!! House Of Hades was still my favorite since it had the most Percy and Annabeth but he did an awesome job of fleshing out all the other characters.
I saw a reel early on that had me convinced that Jason was going to die so any time he talked about the future I was like :( but then he didn’t! Lol so that was a nice surprise

Definitely my favorite book in the entire Percy Jackson universe up to this point!
Percy and Annabeth holding on to each other and never losing hope all through Tartarus, the existential questions about what it means to be a good friend and being aware of when we use people for our own gain. Bob’s whole storyline was just so good. And the rest of the crew’s journeys were awesome! Frank deserved his glow up and we learned a lot more about Nico, one of the most interesting characters in the series.
I loved the whole thing :)

I loved this book. It reminded me a little bit of In Five Years except these characters were lovable. It was thoughtful and sweet and definitely not your average romance book though it was in the romance section at my bookstore. The friendship dynamics are the star of the book and are so interesting and realistic. Highly recommend!!

So far the series is getting better with each book. This one had so much Percy & Annabeth which is really the heart of the series!

At his core, Percy is such a good kid and good person. It’s delightful to read a story about such a great role model. Frank’s and Hazel’s journeys were very sweet to read as well. I liked this one better than the first one because I knew what was going on more.

The first one in the series was boring but I picked up this sequel since my friend said it was better. I DNFed because I wanted a fall witchy romance and this one takes place in spring lol

I wanted to love it bc I LOVE Gone Girl but this one was just way too disturbing for me right out of the gate. I ended up reading a plot summary and am very glad I DNFed. Like the other reviews say, it is DARK! But my friends who can stomach the dark stuff loved it.

Some parts were interesting but it didn’t totally grab me; maybe I’ll revisit when I have more free time

I’ll probably come back to this one next spooky season, it was cute I just didn’t have time for it

Update: came back to it the next year and enjoyed it! It probably had the most cliche lines of any romance book I have read so far but the romance was sweet and the side stories were nice too. Overall entertaining!

Originally DNF’d because I didn’t like that the new love interests were both related to the love interests from the first book, but once I got past that I picked it up again this year and loved it! It has all the charm and light mystery of book 1 and I’ll definitely be reading book 3!
