I loved the plot. The characters were great, the art style was so good I adored the colour scheme that was chosen. Really really interesting comic/gn! Excited to see if we’ll get another in this series cause I very much want more!!

Thank you Netgalley and MadCave for a copy!

This was a lot of fun! Felt like reading a 90’s drama show. I really like the characters. The spice I will admit was cringy and I laughed a few times at some dialogue used. (Looking at you “butter bean” 😂)

Its just such a fun time and its giving me all the summer vibes I need in these cold times

Very excited to dive into the next boom cause that cliffhanger has got me intrigued!

as well as some gore. Def. one of my tops of the year so far!

Solid little novella, good way for me to get an introduction to the characters. just a short little hour long audiobook so it was nice and quick!

obsessed with the vibes and atmosphere!! Late 80's- early 90's is one of my favorite eras to read about!

I've been excited about this book since I finished book 2!!

It was just as sweet, cozy and enjoyable as the rest of the series!!

There's a lot less action in this one and more mundane life which was nice, we got to see everyone interacting more and getting to know all the characters. With that being said there was still a good action based conflict which I really enjoyed! (trying to keep it vague to avoid oopsie spoilers since its book 3) As well as a cliff hanger that will have you begging for book 4.

These books just can't help but make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and they're great! A must read series for any cozy fantasy fan.

the audiobook was great, the narrator did a great job but I do think it could have potentially benefited from 2 different narrators since it could get confusing on whose POV we were at on occasion.

Thank you Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for the audio-arc!!

Decent little collection! As most of these goes some where stronger than others. Some where a bit confusing and others were just so cute. We had so much diversity in here which is always lovely to see.

Some of my favorites were Every Shade of Red by Elliot Wake, The Girl with the Blue Lantern by Tess Sharpe, The Inferno and the Butterfly by Shaun David Hutchinson and Healing Rosa by Tehlor Kay Mejia!

I always love reading these cause they're just such a great way to find new authors to read! I think I will try and get my hands on the 2 other books in this Queer Anthology series!

Books like these are just such a fun time. I love book that have to do with bending the time in weird ways. In here we have a story that unfolds both in the present time as well as 30 years in the past. I loved the small town vibes, the mystery was very well done. The characters felt so real and authentic. The topic of grief in this was handled beautifully. It's really a fantastic YA mystery with a splash of magical realism.

The audiobook is great, it was easy to get sucked into the story. The narrator did a fantastic job!

Thank you Netgalley and RBMedia for the audio arc! All opinions are my own!

The book does take a long time go really get going. The pacing was very much an issue through the whole book unfortunately but the plot itself had really interesting aspects to it. It was a fantastic concept but I do think it was lacking on the execution. There could have been a bit more editing to the plot and more work on the characters and this book could have really shined. This is a debut book and I think the author has a really good base to work from. The characters were hot and cold. I liked them some scenes and didn't in others. I will say our FMC was a little frustrating at times with her decisions and the love interests are not the most likable.

for the audiobook the narrator did a really good job! I really enjoyed the audiobook a lot!

Thank you Netgalley & The publishers for the audio copy!!
