Extreme slow burn, this one took me awhile to get into but at the halfway mark something clicked and I was full tilt. Even with a slow start, extremely rich folklore details, excellent Easter eggs of different cultures and their stories. Will be reading the second in this duology!

While I loved the first in this series, Wren and Ohken were IT for me. Everything about this is *chefs kiss*

Where have I been to not have read ANY of these books? Very cute, very addicting and I’m about to buckle up for all of them.

This was a good alien adventure! For once there is not a romance between captive and captor, rather a hand in hand escape plan.  TWS for attempted SA and also animal death as well

This was an absolute flop for me, in theory ALOT of the things I want out of a book, but the over exaggerated witchy tropes, then lack of chemistry building, and the timelines were confusing. Didn’t slap ☹️

Um this was actually kind of really cute? In a “life post-abduction and starting over on an alien planet with an extraterrestrial hunk” kind of way

What a heavy hitter of a genuine high-fantasy. This has everything but the usual heavy handed gore you find with any fantasy that leans Tolkien-esque, but I feel as though this worked in its favor. For anyone positively sick of fantasy epics that are following European fairytale themes, look no more, this is it.

First was a freebie but I really like this! Will be keeping an eye out for sales on the remainder of the series but had a storyline with a real hook that kept me captivated.

I don’t know if it was the FMCs personality or the lack of chemistry from the other MMCs but this one just missed the mark for me, I didn’t find the mystery to solve compelling or enough to sink my teeth into to continue the series.
