READ THE AUDIO BOOK!!! The narrators are going straight to heaven for the performance they gave in this book. Such an easy read!! The spice was spicy throughout the entire book. READ THE CONTENT WARNINGS bc she’s not kidding. This book was definitely out of left field and surprising in the best way. I loved the characters, I loved the plot, I loved the twist. I’m just not quite sure how being a serial killer and a successful chef fits together and how realistic that is but it works in this book. Not a book I’ll soon forget about and I hope there’s a sequel coming!
Such a good book! I felt like the characters were realistic and Clementine was so much like several women I know! The message of how people change over time and become new versions of themselves was really beautiful. I loved how that caused problems in the story bc it's unique to time traveling stories which I always like. The authors note at the end was very thoughtful and I appreciated listening to it.
This book was good but I didn’t personally get all the hype about it. The best parts were definitely with Henry and Alex being in love and sneaking around but then it got kind of actually political and I felt like it was boring there. Overall a good read but not the book I thought it would be.
Better than I thought it would be but still not one of my favorites. Not super realistic and the relationship between the two main characters was frustrating but overall I enjoyed it.
Booktok was saying that this book was similar to Daisy Jones and The Six if it were set in the early 2000s. While I didn’t think it was as good as Daisy Jones, it was definitely still a good and easy read! There were good twists in the story. Summer definitely gives Britney Spears so she’s really easy to relate to and feel empathy for. I’m glad Noah wasn’t all bad in the end and that him and summer got to have a happy ending. I think the end got a little lost in the sauce but overall the premise was good and it wrapped up nicely.
Cute, clean, lightheaded middle of the road rom com. Nothing super amazing about it. I did find Lucy to be a little annoyingly optimistic and I thought it was weird that she rarely ever had her son with her, but it wasn’t heinous. Not a bad read!
There was so much hype around this book that I was worried it wouldn’t live up to it but it was totally worth it and held up its reputation. Im reviewing this about a month after I read it, so I don’t remember everything I enjoyed but I remember it was such a good read. I found Poppy to be totally realistic and Alex to be completely dreamy while holding that awkward boy next door appeal. I would read a million books with their relationship being the center point.
