This book was so rich in images and references that it demands a reread. I knew the ending before I read the book, but that didn't take away from the story at all. And when I reached the end, I wanted the story to keep going!

This may not be a light read, but it's well worth the effort.

I loved this book. The story goes along just like a day of walking in a lovely country. The writing is lyrical, warm, and peaceful. Can't wait to read it again.

These are sweet stories and essays of an earlier time in Maine. Great relaxing summer read.

I read this fantasy in two days. It was fast-paced and entertaining. Time to hunt down the next book in the series...
