Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.
The writing is overdone, trying too hard to be lyrical and funny. The main character frustratingly stupid and the pace is excessively slow. I was able to skim the dialogue to find out how the story advanced and ended.

A lovely, quiet mystery involving a hidden island and an Aran sweater, this novella looks at the lost and what despair can do to us.

Sometimes slow, and who writes such a a long epilogue. But a good story, even when you know where the story is going--and you don't always.
And if you ever want to know whst it's like to be a new parent of a new, unexpected baby and those first years of life, this is amazingly accurate.
