I felt similarly about this poetry collection as I did about Feminine Gospels. Some of these poems I really enjoyed others I didn't find all that thought-provoking.

I wonder who in this crowd is newly in love, who has just been left, and who has walked out without a word, who is happy and who sad, who is fearful and who forging confidently ahead, who is hoping for a brighter future. But what is frightening is not the though of the unknown: it is the thought that there may not be an unknown, only an end.

The drained are already called a drain.

This is a beautifully written exploration of living with ME/CFS and how these people are treated by the UK healthcare system.

This was a fun exploration of how language is weaponised against women and how women use their own language. However, at times, I felt as though it lacked a more intersectional lens.
