Just not holding my interest at the moment. I might come back to it; I really like his writing and his other two books.

I don't think this is a book I'll ever read again, but it was a stunning memoir. Reminded me a lot more of some of my own relationships than I would have liked.

This is a reread so I wasn't unaware, but all the imagery got old rather quickly this time. Still love Kenji and Warner though.

The first half of this book had me going crazy. It was so sweet and the tension was the best. I liked the last half of the book less, I just didn't feel the conflict was that compelling. Still overall a fantastic read.
After Gracewood finds out about Viola and forgives her and it's clear they both want to be together-- I don't why they couldn't get together. Like yeah he's a duke and she's a nobody but like Gracewood is still kind of a wreck and a recluse at that point, why does he care about the ton's opinion?? I thought the plotline with Miranda was interesting, but other than that it felt like the last half was drawn out a bit.

I may come back to this later. I don’t know— I just didn’t feel invested in the characters.

The blase faire attitude of the narration was pretty unsettling.
