Gripping read author did a wonderful job making us root for the main character while also hating and cringing at her all in the same sentence. I walked away not knowing how I feel about June and that says all it needs to say

First half was really rough to get through but ultimately the back half was a lot better and I flew through it. Interesting story line as always. It’s a pleasure to be inside of Haruki Murakami’s strange protagonists minds.

It started to drag for me in the middle, then took a weird turn…I guess I just wanted to focus more on everyone’s pasts collectively and not one more so than the other. Just fell kinda flat
