Very very good book and I felt seen by the main character in terms of discussions she has with herself in her head as well as coping with her depression after a loss

Did I buy any sense of connection between the two main characters? Not really I cannot lie but it was a good story and I’ll consider maybe reading the next one

I have a feeling I will think about this book for a long time. Overall it made me uncomfortable because death of loved ones scares me a lot but I think it pushed me to think about things I don’t normally think about which is good.

Overall a very solid book. I will say it dragged for the first 70% of the book (lol) but picked up in the end. Anticipating that it was primarily setting up the next books in the trilogy?

Obviously a very well written book but the ending felt rushed and the story felt like it got lost at times for me. I enjoyed the flashbacks and the various characters perspectives but it didn’t feel like it was woven together as well as I wish it was.
