Thank you netgalley and Forever for sending me and allowing me to read an advanced copy of Second Night Stand.

The moment I heard about this book I was so excited to get my hands on it and it didn't disappoint! It was a fun and light read. I enjoyed both of our characters, Izzy and Lillian. As someone who loves performing arts and dance it was really fun to see that aspect in both of these characters and this book. Lillian as a ballet dancer and Izzy as a burlesque dancer. It was also really fun to see the aspect of them being on a reality tv show.
While I overall enjoyed this book, I do think my one complaint is the secondary characters felt really flat. I saw the potential in all of them as Lillian and Izzy's teammates and friends but they all kind of blended together and it was hard to distinguish and remember who was who. Other than that I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend you pick it up when it's released later this year. Especially if you're aching to read good books with a diverse set of characters. It's always refreshing to see queer and plus-size characters like me and of course characters of different races and backgrounds.

I loved that we got a longer-length novel in the same world as the first book! This was heartwarming and lovely and so sweet. I loved all of our characters and seeing more of the adorable tea dragons again.  I'm excited to read the third book in this delightful little graphic novel series.

Didn't get around to reading this before Christmas and just kind of lost interest.

This was the cutest thing I've read all year. It was super short and sweet and I now desperately want a tea dragon of my own. Also the art style and color throughout this entire book was insanely gorgeous.

I don't even know what to rate this. I don't think I can even rate this very critically. It was just pure filthy smut. Very little plot but enjoyable none the less.

These characters have my whole heart! These graphic novels have my whole heart. I don't think I liked this quite as much as the others but I still adored it. I can't exactly explain why but I feel like reading Nick and Charlie the novella before this made me not like it as much. This takes place before the events of the novella and knowing what happens made me go into this with certain expectations but regardless it was still fantastic!

It's so good to just see how authentic Alice Oseman writes Nick and Charlie's relationship and how realistic of a teen relationship it is. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful. There's no  It just makes me wish I had a series like this when I was younger. I'm so excited for Vol 6 but also so heartbroken because it'll be the end for these characters.

Unfortunately, I did not fall in love with this book as much as I was hoping I would. On paper, it's everything I would have loved. Queer, grumpy x sunshine, fake dating, etc but there was something off to me that I can't exactly pinpoint. It was still an enjoyable read! There were a lot of really cute moments, but ultimately I think it came down to me not liking Sheldon's characters as much as I know I should have or wanted to. He felt a little overwhelming at times and while I understand that was the point of his character it was hard for me to get through some parts of the book. Though I understand that's completely on me and that I'm not the target audience for this necessarily. Which is why I would still totally recommend the book to others!
I did really like Theo and I adore all the representation we got from his character! That was fantastic to read. I think reading his chapters was my favorite. I would still love to read the author's other books as I have hope I will enjoy them more.

I wanted a fun little holiday read to get in the spirit and the mood for Christmas and that is exactly what I got from this! I enjoyed this whole book. It was festive, it was fun, it was adorable, and it was heartwarming.  I am a huge sucker for the fake dating trope, every single time no matter if it's predictable. I think our setting was cozy and our characters were so fun! Both characters are english teachers, one a published author and both bookworms and I'm always drawn to bookworm characters even more. If you're looking for something fun this holiday season definitely pick this up!
