If I could give this a 4.85 I would. It's better than a 4.75 but not quuuiiitteee a 5 star read for me. Still, a great book!!! Would recommend. Worth the hype.

This is a really beautiful, poetic novel about what the objects in our lives mean (or dont mean), and the value, and practice, of memory. A book that'll warm your heart and/or make you cry.

A weird, fun, beautiful very Canadian, very New Brunswick book about angry women hurt by men who are hurt by patriarchy - I eat that up. It did make me cry. There were really beautiful parts I wanted to last longer, and parts that felt kinda flat. I didnt like the ending.

This book was weird. Zombie cult. But it's poetic and funny and about sisters reconnecting & I love that stuff. Inspired by a poem by MLO about an abuelita surviving the apocalypse.
