the Dark Elements Complete Collection by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Jennifer L. Armentrout

Dark Elements was an engaging read. Every book leaves you wanting more. I’m so glad that we now spin off series, starting with Storm and Fury because I wasn’t ready to let these characters go... not quietly at least.

Whoa. I was not expecting to actually like this book when I first started it. It was a little cringy and a lot awkward. But after I pushed through the first few chapters it became a sweet and SEXY romance. I can honestly say it has become a new favorite!
It wasn’t so much a book about a girl projecting, with some major daddy issues. But it became a real love story. I think that it takes some serious talent to tell this type of story without it becoming, very taboo and very uncomfortable. Major kudos to Douglas for telling this story with finesse.

This book was a tear jerker. The characters’ relationship was real, and sweet and the book was easy to read. I read it as a stand alone and now I need to go back so I can read its predecessor!!

Geeze. Talk about a slow burn. After reading the first book and most of the second I was sooooooo glad when our main characters finally pulled their heads out of their own you know what’s!
This book, like book 1, was excellent. It moved the plot along nicely. And I love that my main girl is a such badass lady.
This whole series was a nice surprise to find on KU. I can’t reccommend enough

Ok, I was disappointed in book 3. I felt that it focused on certain characters and their relationships more than necessary, especially after reading the book in it’s entirety. The plot was wrapped up in a way that made sense but was a little lack luster for me. I’m not sure what I wanted to happen, but i didn’t like what did happen.
I still loved the series as a whole, and would still reccommend to anyone to read.

The first book in this duo needed a sequel badly so it could tie up some loose ends, but it didn’t need THIS sequel. I was so disappointed in this book.
