This has all the ingredients to make for a great book but just throws around characters, storylines and ideas to the point where it feels quite disjointed and make it difficult to properly focus on

A collection of loosely interlinked narratives that while nice enough on their own just don’t have enough substance together to create a novel. Either should have been longer or a set of connected novellas
