Oh my goodness. I was not ready for the beauty of this book. Kate Bowler put words to emotions that seem impossible but are so very true. She put words to experiences that are painful, beautiful and real. I love a good book. And this is one.

A retelling of Beauty and the Beast, set in the Middle Ages with a Christian perspective. It’s such a fun spin! I really enjoyed the main characters and the clever way the author added various parts of the story. This is a fun and enjoyable series!

This was a fun adaptation of Sleeping Beauty! It’s a quick, light read with fun characters. It has a lot of good moments! Some parts felt a bit heavy handed and the story line a bit forced. However, as a fairy tale adaptation, I really enjoyed it.

The conclusion to the Heartstone trilogy was fast paced, full of action and fun to read. I read it quickly because I couldn’t stop! I loved all of the creatures and I really enjoyed the twist at the end. Highly recommend this series for fans of fantasy!
