I sat and read this whole book in a day. It didn't feel like a book of essays, it felt like sitting with a friend over coffee. She's funny, full of wisdom and fun. She keeps you guessing and helps you to see the best in life. I think that is the biggest take-away for me. Isn't there just a beauty and simplicity in life? Something that we can all hold on to. Something that can we can all find. No matter the challenges, no matter the hardship. There is always something funny, always some reason to find joy, and always something to keep striving for. One thing that I want to keep with me is the idea that aging is something all of us have to figure out, and maybe it isn't that big a deal after all. So I will keep finding memories, keep looking for joy, and keep drinking coffee and sharing stories.
