It’s super rare for me to like any book I was forced to read back in middle school, but Crispin was one of them. I reread it at age 27 wondering if it still holds up and it does! Its’ fast pace story telling and short chapters captured my attention like it did when I was a kid. The ending felt a bit rushed, but the story is still as good as I remembered.
