This book gave me the vibes of The Road, while telling a deep emotional story that should stand with The Last of Us and the new God of War games.

I really loved this book. Great characters and the world hopping aspect was very interesting.

I'll probably rapidly forget these characters and never think of this plot again. But I'm sure some other readers will love this book.

Nothing wrong with poetry, I just find most of it pretty boring. Could be fantastic for a fan of Browning though. The poems seemed to give a good range of the things Browning wrote about, at least to me who knows nothing.

I really loved this book. The school and steampunk settings were really fun and interesting and the mystery plot was great to follow.

Not a book that will stick with me for long, but I'm sure some people will get a lot out of it.

Gives me Annahilation vibes. Some of the text is pretty hard to read because it's written as someone's penmanship.

Everyone in this book is insufferable and the plot is fully of lucky breaks. Main character never shuts up about fucking his hot wife and judges everyone else, while he is somehow never failing while being a hit man for the first time ever. Could suspend my belief enough to like this one.

The first few chapters were really interesting and engaging. Other reviews have mentioned that the book gets very slow when the court cases a delved into and I agree with them, the court cases section is dry compared to the details of the bodies being found in the beginning of the book. I wish the photographs were included throughout the text rather than just in a section at the end. Photographs throughout allow readers to have a better frame of reference and also can break up dry text.

While I really enjoy the characters the story itself shows it's age with a lot of references. I'm glad this book exists for young people. Really wish tumblr wasn't constantly called the tumblr in the book though, not a single young person would add the to a social media site like that.
