It was like the end of an era. Saying goodbye to a cast of characters I grew up reading. I've been waiting on this book for 6 years now, it was everything  I could hope for and so much more. I had 15 pages and was already crying. I devoured every page but also made sure to look at all the details. That way I didn't miss anything. Do I wish there were more books in this series? Absolutely but I'm also happy with where he left it. I will always love rereading this series even though I can't ever experience reading it again for the first time.

I enjoyed the story but didnt connect with the characters as much as I thought I would. I did really like reading a book with main characters who are close to my age.

I really liked reading from Damon & Bonnie's perspectives in this book. One thing that stuck out to me is the difference in modern technology. They have cellphones in this series but the first series came out in the 90s where Bonnie used a Walkman.

I'm enjoying this series enough to continue with the two sequel series. Katherine is way more powerful in this series than in the show.

I enjoyed it more than the second book. The twist at the end I didn't expect but I liked it. I can see why people like this series.

I enjoyed it more than the first book. I can see why people like them & I can see why people hate them. I definitely enjoyed reading this series more the second time.
