I didn’t love this as much as I expected to, and definitely not as much as I loved Ariadne. I thought the portrayal of Clytemnestra and Cassandra were so well done (in fact this might be my favourite versions of them), but I couldn’t stand Elektra by the end. I understand that’s not entirely Saint’s fault, as she followed the myths very closely, but it did make it less enjoyable to read.
I’ve read a fair few Trojan War/Iliad retellings, and this definitely wasn’t up there with my favourites. However, it’s definitely still worth a read if you’re a Greek mythology fan

I loved this book. The pure INHUMAN noises that left my mouth while reading it have only before been heard during my late night fanfic reads. I loved Olive and Adam's chemistry right from the beginning, and CHAPTER 16??!!

I am always a sucker for grumpy meets sunshine, and The Love Hypothesis does it perfectly.

HOWEVER the miscommunication in the book really irked me; as we all know, miscommunication trope is THE WORST. If Olive and Adam had simply just talked to each other...but it is what it is.

I did not expect to love this book SO DAMN MUCH?!?!!

SAPPHIC. POETIC. ACTUALLY HEART-WRENCHING (I cried). TIME TRAVEL.

I adored everything about this book. It accomplished so much in so few pages. I will now be talking forever about it.

The is the first time I've read anything about British mythology, and it was fascinating! This book was very easy to read, and I learnt so much from it. I felt really drawn in to the old times of magic, and I'll be looking out for anything else by Jeffs.

Loved loved loved this book!! Admittedly Keyne's story felt the most exciting and I cared slightly less for Riva and Sinne, but it all came together to make a very exciting story. It at times made me angry, sad, and happy, and it had a truly magical, lyrical feel to it. At times it was haunting, and it's the type of story that stays with you.

ALSO THE TRANS REP!!!!

This novel was beautifully written, with fleshed-out characters, and exciting plot, and a tender romance.
My heart ached for Howard and Jean, and I've never read a love quite like it.

When I reached the end, I was smiling. Happy. Content. And then I turned the page, read one line of the afterword, and felt my heart get torn out of my chest.
And then of course I flipped back to the beginning to read the seemingly innocent article, and the tears just kept coming.

So yeah, all in all a great read if you don't mind heartbreak!

This book drew me in immediately!

It ended up being nothing like I expected and actually almost felt like two different books, with the second half being so different to the first. But it worked so well! There wasn't a dull moment, and were continous twists and turns that I just LOVED. My only big issue is that the ending kind of felt a little anticlimactic.

I enjoyed this, but I didn't love it. It a pretty short book, and because of that things felt very rushed. It was pretty basic and I didn't feel a connection to any of the characters. Despite that, it was quite a fun read, and I liked the inclusion of the journal entries in the middle
