Eu amo reler livros, ainda mais os da Colleen. Eles sempre me fazem sentir todas as emoções possíveis, mesmo não sendo a primeira vez que leio.

Confesse me faz sentir um misto de ódio, tristeza e um pouco de amor/carinho. Basicamente, sofrimento, como todos da CoHo. Acho importante dizer o quanto esse livro me inspira

Livro da temporada - Sinnerland
Faz mais de uma semana que terminei esse livro, já debati com o grupo e tudo mais, então não vou escrever tanto quanto nos últimos livros que eu li (até porque minha cabeça já acalmou e não há dez mil coisas sobre o livro enchendo ela e eu na necessidade de colocar tudo para fora -- mesmo que daqui uma semana eu não concorde com algo).

Basicamente, eu gostei bastante mesmo do livro. Acho que depois de ler sete livros seguidos da Cora Reilly, esse veio com uma leveza muito boa que eu nem percebi que estava precisando. Chorei e passei raiva? Sim, com certeza hahaha, mas ele é levinho, tem seus momentos mais engraçados e mais sentimentais, bem gostosinho.
O cenário bateu demais, eu de fato tive a sensação de verão (mas a autora repete muito que as pessoas são bronzeadas, chegou a me irritar).
Gostei desse haters to lovers slow burn hahaha, o mocinho não ficou dando corda por NADA. Ela chegou a me irritar levemente, mas, num geral, foi gostosinho ver essas pequenas discussões (bem diferente de Gianna e Matteo, ai ai).

Acho que é um favorito (do ano, não da vida kk).

4.84 no-matter-how-dak-the-path ⭐️'s

Today I really don't feel like dedicating time to write a review (I don't even have time today, so maybe I'll come back another day).
I'll leave here what I wrote when I finished the book at 02:04 AM today.

I LOVED IT.
My favourite of the series, so far (I think the next it's Dante and Val but I don't feel like reading it).

Can't believe I finished in less than 24h with work, college and BBB (jogo da discórdia, hein). It's been a while since a book made me feel like that, made me DO it. Wow.
There were so many moments that Luca gave me a "To love is to destroy" vibe. I'm not saying if I think that's bad or good.
At some point, it seemed like every chapter would have sex scenes and that made me worry because I usually don't like that but then we had A LOT of chapters without it so, clap clap.

I just wanna scream good things and freak out about this book. I feel like I'm so on edge because it's 2 AM and I had a long, stressful day but this book was with me and it was the best part of it.
There are so many quotes that I wanted to keep but the audiobook complicates that and I won't do it right now.

Notes on the audiobook:
Savannah Peachwood is amazing, the best so far!!!
I personally preferred Wen Ross (Matteo) over Troy Duran (Lucca). I don't know how to explain it but yeah, that's it.

Well, I started to like it from the middle of the book. The first chapter was like "??????", I'm pretending that it didn't happen.

I loved the small part we had Aria and Luca

-- what the hell is wrong with me?

The story is good, in general, but idk... I kinda have mixed feelings.
Growl is just AAAWWNN. Both made me roll my eyes at a few moments but I'm starting to think that I just don't like slow burns because I get so pissed when people love each other and just don't admit it even to themselves (which happens a lot in romances but it really makes me roll my eyes). Even so, they make a good couple and I really liked the end but

I'd like to understand better how he survived alone there, having his pov or something like that would've been great.

I thought about saying that I'll write a review another day but I don't think I'll have more things to say.

Oh, notes on the audiobook:
It was great and I think Tor Thom's voice matched the Growl I formed in my head perfectly. Desiree Ketchum's great too.

I had low expectations, I got WAY more than I expected. This was the best book so far (and it hurts me because I really love Aria and Luca, but we get some of them here). Gratefully for us, we didn't get much of Gianna. I took some time before writing this because right when I finished I felt like it was almost perfect but after I put some time to think about it... even though it's not all that, it's good.

I don't have a lot to talk about, relating to Lily and Romero's 'forbidden' relationship. I shed some tears at the very end because I was emotional and this thing of

Lily looking at the stars and thinking about how she started WAR to be happy with the person she loved since 14 like her mom told her as a "dying wish"

, but I gave half a star for these few tears. I have mixed feelings about this book, but I'll go with it. It was sweet, strangely soft/hot and a bit boring (not like Gianna and Matteo's book was, but still).

Rocco Scuderi is an ASS, I hate him and his sickness

He was basically marrying his daughter and I'm scared to see how that turned out.

I felt so bad about everything relating to him. I'm not ready for his book and I hope the next one is his

Notably, I love Aria and have to talk about her... I'm starting to feel 'bad' for Luca. He tries to back her up but we can't ignore his positions and obligations. I feel like she's 'betraying' him at some times and it hurts me a lot because I fear what his reaction can be if she does this again. I WANT A BOOK OF THEM THROUGHOUT ALL THESE STORIES AFTER BOUND BY HONOR.

Some things I'd like to point out:

- The New York Famiglia RULES, they're awesome;
- Scuderi sisters are THE sisters. They're bound is everything (shout out to Aria, the superior of them);
- ~~Chicago Outfit~~ sucks so much. In each book, I get more reasons to hate them and I'm expecting to get explanations from Dante at some point in this series.

Ok, here we go...

As soon as I finished the book I gave it 3.7 stars but I couldn't write the review at the time. Now I sat down to write it and I already had time to think and my almost hate towards Gianna does not deserve that many stars, so I lower it to 2.7 stars. I really understand what she says and thinks but none of it justifies the way that she acts, speaks and, well, her completely. I've been talking about reading her book since I read Bound by Honor because I hoped I would finally like her but I only got the opposite.

"Oh but it's not just her book, what about Matteo?"
I like him. Weirdly, I do. Of course, I don't LOVE him or anything like that, it's just that near Gianna it's hard to not like other people. But he's not all that either, just to make that very clear. Even though we also get his point of view I feel like it was just Gianna's book, completely character-driven.
This book can be defined by:
Gianna, Gianna being a huge pain in the ass, sex, Gianna making me roll my eyes in frustration, sex, Matteo showing a human and loveable side, please I can't take more Gianna, sex, Matteo and Gianna kinda being a couple, sex, can't we focus on Aria and Luca please?, sex, GIVE ME ARIA AND LUCA, more Gianna, and then, Gianna and Matteo.
Basically, I don't recommend it... I'm thinking about lowering the rating already.

OH, important to say, I spent the WHOLE book thinking about Aria and Luca in the middle of it all. Everything that happened I imagined "oh, how are Luca and Aria dealing with it?", wanting their side, their point of view, and didn't care about Gianna and Matteo. That's extremely bad since it is THEIR book.

Maybe I'm the problem, maybe it's because I don't like enemies-to-lovers. But I'll go with 2.28 stars.

I EXPECTED WAY MORE OK!?

Almost the same rating as "Luca Vitiello" but I know it deserves more. I even feel bad for giving Bound by Duty a lower rating than Honor/Luca.
The problem is that I had really high expectations for this one because I saw A LOT of people who love the series (and people that don't) saying that Luca and Aria were terrible, Bound by Duty is WAY better etc etc. I shouldn't have paid attention to that but I accepted these expectations and the book didn't attend it.

I didn't want to compare the two couples/books but I feel like giving my opinion about it. What I saw the most was "Dante and Valentina have a lot of chemistry, different from Aria and Luca that doesn't have it". I completely disagree and I tried to see that throughout the book. Also, I hate to compare couples and all that but, oh, well, here I am.

Now, focusing on Bound by Duty only:
Dante and Valentina do make a good couple and Dante really is very sweet but we keep getting the cold shoulder from him throughout the whole book, for this reason, I feel like the book would've been better if it was from his point of view.
As a reader, I understood Dante's whys and all, just by Valentina's pov but I got bored a lot of times, even sleepy, and really annoyed with both of them.

PS. Important to say that I liked how we got a little more understanding of the mafia world.

Even so, I really liked it and I'll read the next one (I'm hoping it's Gianna's book because for now I'm really irritated with her and a bit with Matteo too).
