This was just sad and a bit heartbreaking actually. Im not in the right head space to consume this story right now, I might pick it up again at a later time but atm it's just not for me.

My absolute favorite of the Night Huntress series. I'm unsure what it is about seeing a Witch hunter finally get his comeuppance after all the atrocities he committed when he was alive but.. I always love seeing a small minded POS kind of man get what he deserves.
I've always found the witch hunts and that dark part of our past history to be interesting. Dark, unnecessarily cruel but interesting nonetheless.
The fact that the hammer of witches even exists in the first place is fascinating to me even though it was used to sentence innocent women, and sometimes men, to death.
Anyway.. I loved this book so much.
The narrator does an AMAZING job.

This was a beautiful story and I look forward to reading more and even watching it later.
It was easy to read and my third ever graphic novel. A fast and amazing read, had me tear up at the end.
A fantastic novel with an emphasis on friendship and identity. A perfect coming of age tale.
I loved Charlie and Nick so much. They were such cute friends together.
Sad that Nick's and even Charlie's friends were such negative dark clouds.
Ben..... 🤮🤢

I enjoyed the story, it was well done and I had alot of fun reading it.
It was sad sometimes, and this Prison though? such garbage. I'd hate it there so much. Kinda reminded me of the Pit from Batman but worse.
I loved the little found family aspect of it all, Tipp is such a good little boy.
I did predict something that did actually get revealed and turned out I was right (stupid brain, why do you do this to me?!)
The two reveals at the end though? did not expect that, at all!
Ew Warden. Such an asshole.

I listened to this on Audio.
I liked it well enough, the story was good, the characters were fun and I enjoyed the plot.
I feel like I would have appreciated the book better if I read it with my eyeballs instead though, maybe I would have enjoyed it more.
The female narrator did a great job at setting the scene and voicing the characters... the guy though... Even though he did a superb job on the dialog bits, I found the setting the scene or descriptions parts to be read in a sort of robotic, monotone kind of way. There was no passion or enthusiasm in the words, it just sounded like he was just reading from a script that he didn't much care for.
It really pulled me out of the story sometimes because I was kind of annoyed by it.
So like I said, I think I would have liked this more if I read it with my eyeballs.
Wouldn't recommend the Audiobook.

God, this is so funny! 🔥
I love Fabien, he's such a sweetheart.. and Vlad, he's funny asf.
I love how much world building went into this, the whole vampire/ghoul hierarchy is interesting but also simple at the same time.
Very easy to love and understand, even if sometimes sexist and disagreeable lol

Not as good as Kiss of Darkness, but it's a good character backstory between Spade and Denise.
I guess I dislike it a bit just because of Denise being a sort of pacifist and in a world of Monsters, humans included, I just found that to be irritating.

Summertime by Willow Aster
80% of the characters in here were kinda garbage people, either that or the characters awfulness overshadowed all the goodness there possibly was.
I hated that the mom made excuses as to why Cole was a bad father, it was because he never tried to be one?
In the beginning I didn't really like Summer either, she was a doormat and let people walk all over her.. but I'm glad to see at least some character growth from her as she eventually got sick of trying to please everyone.
I loved her and Liam together even though Liam didn't have any character growth himself, he just stayed constantly wholesome and good.
Winslet can eat shit. Literally.
I was rooting for Hudson in the beginning too, until he ended up being disgusting.
Even though I liked the ending, it felt very rushed.
The first time sex scene with Liam was HOT though! 🔥 🥵 and so very sweet.
