I liked this and the twists at the end were great but the word "flesh" was used way too often. I also have a few issues with the writing style and a couple of plot points, but I will be continuing the series.

Thank you to Saga Press for sending an ARC to my Barnes & Noble location. All thoughts are my own.

This was okay. I liked Vaasa and Reid, but I think the romance and political aspects of this book were not very well balanced out. There was also so much going on with the witch covens and the politics of the other territories that could have used more explanation. The middle was good, the ending, while exciting, kind of annoyed me. I think there are a lot of people who are going to really love this book, I'm just not one of them.

this was SO EXCELLENT!!! this my favorite kind of romance novel. there's an amazing romance and character development related to that, but there's also an overarching plot and wonderful side characters. I had the best time with this one and I loved the narrator!

I love when an author can write characters in a way that makes me root for them even though I don't like them and know that they're bad people!
