Thank you to the author for the DRC of Speeding into Overdrive!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I have been waiting for Indy and Miles' book since these characters were first introduced and they did not disappoint!  The tension between them is apparant from the first page and I love that they have a history before the book even starts.  I also love Indy's storyline of becoming an announcer and how she deals with people who are against her.  Speeding into Overdrive is another fantastic addition to the PitStop series!

DNF at 10%

There are too many characters introduced too early on so it makes it difficult to understand what is happening.  I know there are three storylines in this book, but I feel like I needed a very strong understanding of Greek mythology to figure out who everyone is and what is happening.

I had a hard time getting into this one and I'm still not quite sure why.  I don't know if it's because it took me awhile to differentiate between the side characters since they were all introduced close together or if it's because it took awhile for the two storylines to connect to each other.  By the end of the book, Lola's reason for fleeing Hong Kong makes more sense, but for most of the book it felt like it wasn't necessary for her to have that storyline to get her to the island in the first place.  Overall, the second half was definitely better, but for the most part, I never felt compelled to keep reading.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the DRC of Hers For The Weekend!  All opinions in this review are my own.

The biggest strength is the characters, both in the main and side characters.  It made me wish that I read the first two books in the series first.  However, because the characters are developed so well, I felt like a lot of the focus wasn't on Holly and Tara's relationship.  While they are technically fake dating, Holly and Tara fall so hard and fast for each other that it doesn't even seem fake.  Overall, I did really like this one, but I should have read the first two books in the series.

I am unfortunately DNFing at 13%. As good as this one originally sounded, it starts out too slow for me.

I am sad to say I am DNFing this one at 41%. I loved Last Night at the Telegraph so I'm sad to be DNFing this one. Although terrible things happened to the main character before the book starts, I don't like how manipulative she is with her new friends and based on review, it sounds like she makes some bad decisions with them.

I was excited to read this one because of the concept!  Caroline bases her novel's hero on a man she meets briefly, only for him to formally meet him later.  Caroline and Dorian start a friends with benefits knowing that Dorian is expected to marry someone with a title.  I appreciate that even though their relationship starts out as a friends with benefits, Caroline is committed to prioritizing her independence instead of giving everything up to be with Dorian when presented with the chance.  This historical romance is full of lovable characters and funny to moments to keep you invested until the end!  I can't wait to read the next book in the Bluestocking Booksellers series!

Unfortunately, I think the first book in the series is stronger. It took me awhile to get into the second mystery and there are a lot of characters to keep track of. However, I am still interested in continuing with this series.

Although the pace is a bit slow, the adventure Mia has in Paris makes up for it.  I don't love when books including snippets of exciting things to come or say something ominous and then take awhile to get there, but overall, this was an exciting read!
