A whopping start to the Women’s Prize for Non Fiction. An undeniably beautiful and heartbreaking memoir. It was a poem, a song, a tale I couldn’t put down. The sheer talent of Safiya Sinclair is incredible

A really well written piece, absolutely rooted for Demon all the way through, I felt all the characters had great depth - lost some rating due to the ending
