The ending was abrupt... I wanted more!

Anyway, the way it tackled grief is delicate and complex. I enjoyed reading it.

Did I understand half of what's happening in the book? Probably not. Did I enjoy the writing? Yes.

All I can say is, words were said. The writing is crisp & some parts provided a great introspection about femininity & individualism.

However, I felt like for an ending that is already foreseen at the beginning of the book, it kind of felt anti-climactic. I'm not saying that it should've been action-packed or anything but it felt flat. I literally thought, "all that yapping just for them to have sex."

But, for the benefit of the doubt, it might have been me & my pea brain for not being able to comprehend the entirety of the book. This might be something I'd re-read when I get older (and hopefully, wiser).

Also, lastly, contrary to the majority of the reviews... I do not want a Ulisses. He says absurd things that make me go wtf did he just say to Lori?
