I don't like the fact they were not virgins. I also don't like the fact he just tells he would not leave but never shown that he really cares for her and wouldn't leave. Its hard to know when that specific situation haven't happened yet that would compel him to leave. Then i would believe he wouldn't leave and that he cares for her. 

I also don't like the fact that he is interested in her because she puts up a fight, what if she didn't put up a fight. Then he wouldn't like her and probably will abandon her or get bored with her. His words though. As if entertaining his demon is something to be proud of and she should be grateful that he finds her interesting. I don't like this. 

I think I am in a reading slump. I am losing interest. 

It has so many repetitive scenes. 

Not vibing, boring

The way blurb made their fallout sound like it was bad, but to be honest, it wasn't that bad of a fallout. Monty Phillips, our mmc, he just bid goodbye and said, "See you around." Does that sound bad to you? Like I often say, the same thing to my friend? I genuinely don't understand why they made it that sound bad.

Okay, on a positive note, I liked this book more than the first book. The dynamic between Monty and Daphne is like hot and cold. I loved it, their banter, their swoony moments, and I liked their yearning for each other the most. Oh! And not to forget Monty's jealousy 🤣

This book was really a romcom.
