They Call Him Levity by Davidson King

I really liked this one! It’s a bit of a different premise & that definitely made me like it all the more. Sal & Levity as well as Jaclyn, Maise, Clove& Marcel were fantastic characters. Liked that we got an epilogue even though it became really rushed at the end which is rarely my favorite, but I still enjoy Davidson’s writing & continue reading as I’m able. Listened via Anyplay.

I enjoyed this & was honestly surprised that I did. But it quickly became apparent that Ethan definitely didn’t just need Beau to cover for his brother Chase (the escape artist man-child) but also bc while Ethan was convinced that he was on the right track for the job he wanted, he definitely needed Beau’s influence to realize how far off track of who he really is & choose to be brave enough to speak the truth instead of what the primary sponsor wanted. Ugh 😩 another one with one very special girl. And it’s the last audiobook for the series. 😅 loved getting Callum’s story so much! Plus that it was Declan who initially & intentionally rubbed Jackson the wrong way by hitting on Simon in book 3. Also loved learning about Callam & Cooper’s plan for a specific group of people equine therapy place. So now off to download the final 2 books to finish this series! Listened via Hoopla Anythink.

This was good. A first for me by the author & the ⭐️ rating is based on mostly how the girls were described Christmas morning & the reasoning for the outside voices & stomping around inside the house bc the adults were taking too long. I did enjoy the best friend’s younger brother trope as it’s not one generally used often in gay/mm romance. Anyway, I’m intrigued & interested in reading more by the author. Kai Rubio’s narration was new for me as well & I was pleasantly surprised. Listened via Hoopla Anythink.

Oh we get a novella for Simon, Jackson & Parker! A baby sister just like they’d hoped & intended for by the end of their book (3). Loved the “pay it forward” action with little Ava’s mama. Completely forgot about Jackson’s college friend Luca 🤭 but I’m honestly not surprised bc I skipped past book 2, read Simon & Jackson’s to then decide to give book 2 (Aidan Hayes & Marcus) a try; I didn’t exactly set my poor brain 🧠 up for success 😂 anyway, now for the final audiobook my library has but isn’t the final book in this series. Seriously love the combination of Alexander Cendese & J.F. Harding narration, also love how duet narration pops up every so often too! Listened via Hoopla Anythink.

This was so much better than I expected!! Adrian’s long held anger at Marcus & the unresolved closure between them turned out to not last too long thankfully. It’s interesting how we learn about how & when they marry but we the reader don’t get the details 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 anyway, this picks up during the events of book 1 (read in listed order) & I absolutely love it when an author does this. These two definitely deserved & earned their happily ever beginning. We don’t hear from Marcus’s son Trent much but it’s understandable bc he lives with mom 1/2 of the time. Really enjoying this series so far! Listened via Hoopla Anythink.

Oh man, this was a bit of a heartbreaker due to the loss of a child’s mother from an unexpected car accident & internal issues. But, there was plenty of reasons for laughter too! This group of people are what so many of us readers wish our lives had irl. Not just a band of brothers but family even before the first book. Parker is one grown up 10 year old & despite the loss of his mother, knew despite scares of foster care that Jackson was his last person. The authors definitely did a fantastic job of showing the resilience kids have no matter the age & while we don’t get too much from any of the therapist visits, I was very happy to see that here. Simon & Jackson, best friends with a 15 year age gap. Love definitely is not a number & death can find us at any age. Now I have to go back to book 2 & read it, didn’t feel up to a prolonged animosity from Aiden Hayes’ POV but obviously a lot takes place in it so 😂 listened via Hoopla Anythink.

So each short story had its moments but honestly my fav was Back Where He Belongs bc Scotland the land of my heart & lineage.  Anyway, it’s also a second chance with a bit of pup play that at the beginning I wasn’t too keen about but soon began to understand better. Anyway, feeling all those good vibes. Listened via Hoopla Anythink.

Well, this one had kids & I do love them expertly inserted into the story, like this one. Plus … dogs. So many feels. Cendese & Harding are a new to me duo narration & it was fantastic! And the MMCs were a great start to this series. Really liked how adult they were (compared to other characters by other authors) when it came to keeping their relationship hidden but only for a certain amount of time. Also, the asking forgiveness & minor groveling was 👩‍🍳 💋  listened via Hoopla Anythink.
