It was fun! It was good. I actually liked it surprisingly. The colored hair though was so millenial coded to the point it was painful to just think about that blue streak 🤮😭. I will also say, getting his POV was not needed.

Just something fun to read idk. It’s good, even though the dialogue is quite lengthy at times. So lengthy to the point I was skipping entire pages of dialogue. The plot also seems to drag sometimes,,,, like DRAAAG. Other than that, I’m not quite sure I was sold on Adam and Lucy…. Like there’s something there obviously but I don’t know…. Aiden was cute. The plot twist was a good one I won’t even lie. It got me!

As a black woman reading this, it hit close to home. A white woman steals the work and words of a woman of color, in this case, Asian, and through it all, she’s the victim. Through it all, she’s the one who’s been wronged all her life. She’s the one who deserved all the accolades and not the great, award winning author she stole the book from. To the very end, she’s the victim. Very white woman of her. Very very white woman of her. RF Kaung, you are a genius. This was my introduction to RF Kuang and it’s very good. Very very good.

I mean I guess. Not too bad not too great either. Just one of those books you read and you move on.

What….? That ending is soooo dumb like it’s not even funny 😭👎🏾👎🏾. BOOOOOOO 🍅🍅🍅🍅. It was a cop out and not a very good one either. Element of surprise or whatever but like you spent the entire book telling us that while Axel is an angry kid, he’s harmless. What REASON does Axel have to kill Izzy? Like WHAT REASON!??/?/?: 😭😭

This was a fun read I can’t even lie. We lost the suffragist plot a little bit but it’s okay!

Terrible, just terrible. It gets 1 star cause the beginning was a bit promising. Corny, but promising. The writing is immature and juvenile. The plot is barely there. Annie and Will are just characters I was not rooting for. That whole bit with Brandon…. alright. Like alright bro 😭😭

See cause Unc had lost his pen a lil bit during The Lost Hero and so he knew he had one chance. One chance to get this right and he did! This book is just excellent my god

I love BTS a lot and a lot of the information wasn’t new but what was new were their “reflections” on the events. I could feel their hopefulness, frustrations, love, etc.. through the pages.

I don’t have much to say honestly. I’m just sitting here, left in shock. Like I was not expecting that ending at all. Everything that could’ve gone wrong, went wrong!

I loved this book so so much. I was half-way through the book and I knew it was going to be a solid 5-star read. The characters. The plot. The romance. The letters. OH THE LETTERS!
