Amazing. Wonderful. Brilliant.

World building could've been better in my opinion though.

The horror and aspect of this novel was really well done. It had me guessing everyone but the actual killer and that shows how great of a writer Adalyn Grace is.

Death was also a little confusing, especially when describing him and his form. Especially when Signa and him started being intimate because I could never tell whether he was a shadow or like a shadow with figure or idk...

Can't wait to read the second book.

Annalise got on my nerves but that's still my girl.

I still can't figure out if Lloyd is Italian, Mexican, or mixed (black/white). Maybe the author said so but I must've forgotten or something.

Anyways, this was cute for what it was to be honest. I loved how the internship arch wasn't abandoned because you'll be surprised how many authors will base their entire book on a specific thing, introduce it, and abandon it like 10 chapters later to focus more on the romance aspect of it all.

Anna and Lloyd were annoying but they're human. Not perfect. There's no right way to approach love and Anna was kind of in a place between a rock and steel doors or whatever the saying is.

I liked it.

The ending gave very much Alex singing to Ava NO THANK YEWWWW!

It's cute though. Like it's good for what it is which is a cute romance between teens in high school. Teens who are all just trying to find themselves.

The writing was kind of choppy sometimes. It didn't flow too well. It was kind of like "So this is this and this means that which is why this means that" you know ?

Good for what it is. Cute.

Is Jack hispanic? I highly doubt it considering the time period, but Angie went on and on about his very tan skin and dark curly hair and brown eyes..

Maybe he's just Italian. You never know with them 😩😩

Very very simple.

Very cute.

Very silly at times, like the Harper nicknames.

PHENOMENAL! BRILLIANT! BREATHTAKING. A MASTERMIND WAS BEHIND THIS BOOK.

I'm sorry, but I just love everything about this book. The pacing, the setting, the absolute twist towards the end.

Oliver just letting Sadie call him Joe throughout the whole book is hilarious to me. Like it's tickling me so bad 😭

I usually devour Katherine Center's books but this one was a tough read to be honest. It's not bad at all, it's just not as captivating as her other works.

This book doesn't really flow. It's kind of choppy. It's this happened then this happened after that happened.

The dialogue isn't also as witty between the leads, which makes sense seeing as how Ian is basically mute for half the book. I liked Ian though. The fact he was Scottish tickled me throughout the whole book cause I just kept imagining his accent.

I also did enjoy Kitty and Margaret's dynamic. I thought it was sweet. Long lost sisters finding each other again type beat.

I could tell what kind of guy Chip was from the very beginning. Really really sucks how in the end, everything worked out for him despite the fact it was him in the pilots seat.

The ending was also very weird. It was a happy and good ending but it felt... off I don't know.

Very cutesy and kind of demure... Lucy Score you have surprised me.

Didn't love the whole "I can't love you" spiel coming from Luke but you know... it is what it is.

Didn't love the whole insta love we got from Harper. She was saying "I love you" like a month in but you know what.... I don't doubt she did love him but how much of it was her just playing house? You know having a family, not just Luke. Luke's family, friends, in laws. A house. Dogs. etc....
