This is a beautiful book full of really interesting plot twists and turns. It touches on themes of life, death, spirituality, government corruption, and so much more. Unique, lovable characters, witchcraft, and adventure all packed into a bite sized but delicious read.

This wasn’t my favorite in the series. I’m far more interested in the couple in the next book — this one kind of bored me, and while the side plots for character development are necessary to the story and always a little over the top by nature of the narrative, this one was too nonsensical to me. Overall, good smut book, great for a slow burn, but not my thing.

This is my least favorite book in the series so far. Something about it just wasn’t for me — maybe it’s because Kent just isn’t the type of Daddy I’d typically go for in a smut novel. I also disliked the addition of the main character’s brother, Max. I understand his role in creating a unique scenario to show some of the main character’s struggles, traumas, and self-worth issues, but the resolution of that side plot was horrible. Not a fan of this one.
