I found the second book of the series less enjoyable than the first and third books, but I'm incredibly happy I kept reading. The rating is for the series as a whole, which is drawn to a heart-wrenching and beautiful conclusion in this book.

The protagonist was not as endearing as she was meant to be. She was poorly written. Some beautiful imagery, etc., but the pacing and characters were off.
