This was a really hard book to get through; it reminded me a lot of books by Tim O'Brien like The Things They Carried for the descriptions of the war. It was a tough read and I am glad that I read it but won't be re-reading it.

I will definitely read the next book in this series! It was a cute YA sapphic romance with some intrigue and some witchiness added to it.

I was totally blown away by this book; This is going to be the year I read literally everything that Neal Schusterman has ever written.

This was a really cute middle grade book. I would consider recommending it for a kid who asked for a book recommendation. I can totally see the concerns that some people have about Auggie's agency though.

WHAT AN AMAZING ENDING TO THE SERIES. I really feel like each book was it's own story in very unique ways but all still came together to complete this overarching lesson about humanity. I LOVED this book holy buckets.

This book for whatever reason had a block for me from being able to enjoy it. I think I might want to revisit this one; maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it? I did very much enjoy the ending and I think the book itself is a really great example of how you can slip into new roles and into unhealthy relationships without realizing what is happening

I think that this book suffered from a fantastic plot with no real way to end it in any sort of satisfactory way. It felt like the rug got pulled out from under me after crafting such an interesting and mysterious story.

I really enjoyed this book a lot, although I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I was a fan of slasher movies. It was a fun and interesting premise and had a great ending that I really felt like was guessable but still enjoyable.

This was a great true crime book, with some self insert by both McNamara and by those who helped finish the book. I think that it is a great modern version of the types of books that we all like to read about the killers that have never been caught.
