Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.

Unfortunately this book is not what I thought it would be. The writing is subpar and the characters are more conceptual than concrete and believable. I've rolled my eyes at how over dramatic the writing gets. No stakes no build up no tension and it's not sexy which are all necessary to excell at this concept. It's also too long. I'm surprised I'm only 20% into book is thought I would be at the 30-40% mark. What else could happen that makes this book 400+ pages long??
