Persuasion by Jane Austen

Loved it more than I thought I would. Captain Wentworth's letter sealed it for me. I found the first half slow-going, but once Anne moved to Bath, I found that the pace moved more quickly and my enjoyment increased significantly.
The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton
4.0
I loved the Wednesday Sisters, and my first intent was to give it 5 stars, but you all tell me I score too highly, so I won't.
Heartwarming and easy to read - two of my favorite things. The story flowed, I cared about the characters and found myself wishing that I had some Wednesday Sisters of my own.
Even more importantly, there's a happy ending. I love books that make me cry with empathy in the middle and cry at the end with happiness.
It's a keeper, and probably a re-reader as well.
