I really enjoyed this character and his voice. It was very authentic.

Aw, Jerusha.
What a happy little story with a main character I really enjoyed. I can't believe I haven't heard of this before, or read it! Thoroughly enjoyed.

Definitely a bit dark. LOVED the American setting!
The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown by Claire Ridgway

It was a little dry, written in journal/sequential format. I found that there was not a lot of new information for me, although I did find that a lot of the facts that I had taken for truth before were not so much truth as speculation. Interesting.
All My Love, Detrick by Roberta Kagan
I enjoyed this book and I think that the setting and the characters were realistic and the storyline developed nicely. I definitely cared about the characters and remained interested in their stories until the end. I'm not typically a big fan of romance-y stories but the romance, although central to the story, did not overtake the story about the world events going on at the time, which is key for me.
When I read the story, I was concerned about the number of editing errors, and was actually able to contact the author on here. She has contacted her editor and I know that the errors will soon be removed, which will make such a difference.

I liked this but as anyone who reads my reviews knows, I enjoy historical biblical fiction.
I'll probably read the rest of them.
