This was an amazing book, but please check the trigger warnings. Deals with domestic violence and sexual assault. The author did an amazing job in feeling the pain and struggle through the book. You loved the good guys and hated the bad guys. We all need a bestie in this book. Such a powerful book on how hard it is to leave an abusive husband.

Slow read. It did now (present) and then ( earlier memories? They were considering a request, but you don't know if they considered the request. Three sisters are different yet the same. Afraid to rock the boat bc they didn't want to hurt each other. Small plot twist in lat 4 pages so potential next book.

This is the 3rd book in the series. It was a little over the top, but not as bad as the 2nd book. This one was more realistic. Afraid to love again because you think the other person will disappear again. I love how the MMC slowly proves his love to the FMC slowly and remind her he'll always be there. I love the chronic illness represented in the book. This was a quick read.

The book starts off slow but does pick up. It's about 3/4 of the way through the book before you figure out who the story is about. I love how the cast of friends is diverse and makes a point to use the correct pronouns. Sometimes you need loose the love of your life to understand what is really important. All in all, this was a cute book about finding love.

FMC moves overseas ro escape from a family that doesn't understand her and a cheating fiance after her grandmother passed away and she wasn't able to make it in time to say goodbye due getting into a car accident. In her new city, she hopes to assist the staff in gaining the infamous star for their restaurant, and in comes a famous chef that already has a star under his belt. At first, the attraction wasn't there, but as they became friends, the attraction grew.

It was a great friend's to lover, finding love again when you least expect it. If he wanted to, he would love the story. Easy read grabs your attention from the start.

Easy read. FMC doesn’t go through with her 1st wedding. She feels she can never do anything correctly in her mother's eyes. MMC has his own family drama. The meet cute and instant attraction was nice. Not a fan, the family drama wasn't fully resolved since it was 75% of the storyline. The HEA felt rushed. It leaves room for a sequel.
